Who is Sandy MacKay?
Sandy Mackay is a real estate strategist, investor, and entrepreneur focused on helping homeowners, investors, and agents build long-term wealth through strategic real estate decisions.
He is the founder of Found Spaces Realty Group, a strategy-driven real estate platform specializing in Hamilton investment properties, Burlington luxury homes, and Niagara winery and landmark real estate. The company operates with a performance mindset, treating every property as a strategic launch rather than a routine listing.
Sandy began his real estate journey in 2011 and purchased his first investment property in Oshawa in 2012. Recognizing the long-term opportunity in Hamilton, he put down roots in the city and became a realtor in 2014. His early focus on investment properties and market strategy quickly positioned him as a trusted voice among investors across Ontario.
He later co-hosted the Breakthrough Real Estate Investing Podcast, which became Canada’s #1 real estate investing podcast with more than two million downloads, educating thousands of investors on wealth building through real estate.
Over the past decade, Sandy has built multiple real estate businesses, including Found Spaces Realty Group, Found Spaces Property Management, and several real estate investment companies. His work centers on building systems that create leverage, scale opportunity, and help people achieve financial freedom through property ownership.
In 2021, Sandy expanded his leadership impact by launching a real estate brokerage in Vaughan, Ontario, growing the organization to more than 100 agents in its first year.
In 2026, Sandy and his team joined Real Brokerage after recognizing its vision for the future of real estate. He believes the next generation of brokerages will focus on leverage, ownership, and wealth-building opportunities for both agents and clients. Real’s technology platform, collaborative model, and agent equity structure aligned with his long-term vision of helping people build lasting financial opportunity through real estate.
Beyond business, Sandy is passionate about personal growth, leadership, and living a full life outside of work. He is an avid golfer and former competitive player, a dedicated follower of Toronto sports, and someone who enjoys exploring new places through travel.
Most importantly, he values time with his family, including his wife Kate and their three beloved pets.
